- Chimera Review accepts poetry, fiction, short drama, essays, interviews, reviews, photography and artwork for submissions by email or postal mail.
- While the journal welcomes unsolicited manuscripts, it cannot accept responsibility for their loss or damage. Manuscripts, photographs and artwork will not be returned unless accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope.
- All submissions must be in English and previously unpublished. Translations are acceptable and should be accompanied by a copy of the original text.
- When work is submitted to Chimera Review you are affirming you are the sole author. If we accept the work, we understand you grant us first serial rights. All subsequent rights are yours, though we expect any future publication to carry acknowledgment that the work first appeared in Chimera Review.
- Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, so long as we are notified immediately if the manuscript is accepted for publication elsewhere.
- When submitting work, please include a cover letter with a brief bio and recent publications.
- If your work is accepted for publication we will make an effort to provide pre-publication galleys in an online format. Chimera Review will under most circumstances link to author and artist websites in our contributors section.
- If you have already submitted work to Chimera Review, please do not submit again until you have heard back from us.
- Chimera Review is not able to compensate authors and artists for their work at this time.
- By submitting to Chimera Review you affirm that you have read, understood and agree to our submission guidelines. Chimera Review may change these guidelines without notice.
